Opie Hendrix is a Houston-based singer-songwriter known for his distinctive blend of Americana and roots music, deeply rooted in traditional country.

Hendrix's music is characterized by energetic rockabilly rhythms and heartfelt, storytelling-style lyrics. His songs transition from foot-stomping anthems to soulful, introspective ballads, showcasing his versatility as a songwriter.

A staple in the Texas music community, Hendrix has released acclaimed projects such as Camino Alto and Chupacabra. His latest album, Monsters and Robots, was featured in the Houston Chronicle's list of the top 10 Houston albums of 2024, securing the #2 spot. Music critic Joey Guerra praised the album, noting:
